The Doors

The greatest band of the late sixties and the early seventies is the doors if you dispute that to bad its my blog so deal and make your own blog and even then your still wrong. The fact that they had members that were highly skilled at what they did from Robbie’s insane talent on the guitar to Jim’s way with words to ray impressive piano skills and the jazz influence of John they had everything that they needed to be a successful band. Songs with a meaning not made just for commercial mainstream play. they tried to elevate the consciousness of America it was an impossible task but if anyone could have done it, it would have been the Doors if Jim had lived a little longer then any thing would have been possible but alas he didn’t and although they did continue on and there were some amazing songs but without jim it just didn’t have the same magic and though they have all been in different bands since then riders on the storm and the butts band all of which are very good but at the same time they aren't the original doors but thats not what there trying to do. that is what makes there music so great.
